Lackley Globe

These are some details of a set of maps produced for Mark Lackley, a furniture maker from Vermont who wants to make a globe for his children.

Hawaii (reduced size)

This is another project making use of Natural Earth vector- and rasterdata. The maps are produced in Illustrator, using MAPublisher, although the majority of text placement has been done manually.

Andes (true size)

This globe makes use of 12 gores, this means some extra cartography work, but the overall end result will be a lot better. In this case Red Geographics received a lot of cartographic freedom from the client, which allowed us to produce an outstanding map image.
